Antoku-sui (Water of Antoku)
Water of young emperor

Location: Ochimachi Town, Takaoka-gun, Kochi Prefecture
Antoku river was named after ancient Emperor Antoku who is generally known to have ended his 7-year life at the time of the fall of "Heike" reign. On the other hand another legend exists which tells that the young emperor survived in Yokokura-yama(Mountain Yokokura) by drinking spring water that spouted near mountaintop.
